Do I need a KIE.ai account?
Yes. V1 runs through KIE.ai on purpose. The first product has to make one repeatable local loop work before it pretends to be a universal provider switchboard.
Are generation costs included?
No. You pay KIE.ai directly for generations. The $99 buys the local studio, starter system, recipes, updates, and the workflow memory so you are not renting the whole machine from somebody else.
Is this a hosted SaaS?
No. That is the point. Aristotle Studio is local-first founding access: current build, starter recipes, and updates while the installer gets cleaner.
